-Provided resources to incoming freshmen at summer orientation and helped with Digital Flagship iPad distribution.

Sinead Yarberry, Instructor of Clinical Practice in The College of Nursing, started using ExamSoft last semester to replace bubble sheets and paper tests. Yarberry taught Nursing 6271, which had between 80-90 students. Over the course of the semester, five quizzes, one midterm and one final exam were administered through ExamSoft.
This season, Ohio State’s Wireless Expansion Project had as many wins in Ohio Stadium as the Buckeyes did. On August 31, 2019, Ohio State played its first game against Florida Atlantic and introduced the new stadium Wi-Fi to the public. This network is the nation’s first Wi-Fi6 stadium network. It placed Ohio State among the top ten stadiums for Wi-Fi usage during the first game of the season.
The Career Coaches in the College of Arts and Sciences (ASC) Center for Career and Professional Success wanted to make things easier for busy students. So, they launched their new virtual chat tool, Career Success Quick Chat, through CarmenZoom.
Dr. Jacquelyn Meshelemiah is passionate about fighting human trafficking. She wanted her students to be passionate too. However, when there are additional costs to a course (like expensive textbooks), some students are unable to take a class— even when the subject is something they really care about. Dr. Meshelemiah is combatting this with her newly redesigned course.
This year, the Office of Distance Education and eLearning (ODEE) introduced CarmenZoom to its eLearning toolset. CarmenZoom isn’t just great for academic web-conferencing--it’s also perfect for staying connected with friends and family outside of Ohio State. Dr. Laura Deeter, Professor of Horticulture Technologies at Ohio State ATI, has been named the 2019 Canvas Educator of the Year - Professor. The Educator of the Year Awards recognize "exceptional educators who are positively impacting the lives of K-20 students".

But you don’t have to make a career out of it – why not just for fun? It’s the perfect platform for writing stories, sharing photos, and engaging with friends, family and even strangers.
When course concepts are constantly changing, a traditional textbook becomes outdated quickly. That’s why Assistant Professor Brian Partido decided that an electronic book, or e-book, would be the right course material for his students in Current Concepts in Dental Hygiene (DENTHYG 4420).
